Agree would be nice next to 40. You may want to play with flipping image so it doesn't feel repetitive to 40 in direction of dark/light balance but instead looks like dark part of image is on opposite side - both going in towards a center, though separated by framing, matting etc. forground and dark partof this image would then read on the left instead of the right. For printing you have beautiful medium grey tones in this shot however make sure contrast is enough to bring in blacks in the deep shadows and whites in the highlights so you have a full range of black and white tones. I would print both on an archival cotton rag paper and print large enough so end product (with framing etc) is @ 2'x3'. I think there is so much detail that printed large one can get lost in the subtle feelings of lines/contrast etc. Both images together will also look beautiful on a large wall and can be a resting spot for the eyes as they don't demand thought and attention -- instead are very poetic.
